Inside Sales Representative – Rental | Ohio CAT Rental Store | A Division of Ohio Machinery Co.

At Ohio CAT Rental Store, we help customers build, improve, feed, power, and protect our world—and that starts with strong relationships. As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in connecting customers with the right equipment solutions, re‑engaging inactive accounts, and supporting our sales teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, partnering closely with outside sales while serving as a trusted equipment and rental resource for customers.

What You’ll Do

Make outbound customer calls to develop leads from dormant accounts and new prospects
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Caterpillar rental equipment and Ohio CAT services
Generate, qualify, and manage leads in SalesLink following established protocols
Support sales reps by turning over qualified leads and assisting with documentation
Maintain accurate customer data, activity logs, and CRM updates
Extend marketing campaign reach and provide territory insights using Dodge, IIR, and other data sources

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
2+ years of sales or customer service experience
Ability to sell and support premium‑priced products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to assess needs and satisfaction
Familiarity with Caterpillar rental products is a plus
