At the heart of Hale Holdings is a shared foundation that connects each of our companies — Quick Supply Co., Bennett Explosives, ASP Enterprises, Bowman Construction Supply, and Cascade Geosynthetics. We are united by our values: serving our customers with integrity, prioritizing safety, and fostering a strong sense of family across every level of our organization.

Ralph Hale
Founder
Ralph Hale, born and raised in Leeds, Alabama, graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in 1939. In 1946, he started working for DuPont Powder. Ralph was an entrepreneur at heart. He purchased Quick Supply Co. from Herb Quick in 1953 and never looked back. He had the drive and passion necessary to build Quick Supply Co. into the successful business it is today while laying the groundwork for what would become the Hale Family of Companies. Ralph was deeply committed to his customers, emphasizing that the customer is always right, a principle he passed down to future generations.
John Hale
CEO/Owner
As the CEO of Hale Holdings, John Hale is responsible for leading the Hale Family of Companies toward a prosperous future. He oversees the high-level operations of the multi-specialty company and provides expert guidance to the senior leadership team. His father Ralph was his mentor, teaching him the business at a very young age, with a focus on building relationships and prioritizing the customer.
Mike Hale
President
Mike Hale is the President of Hale Holdings. He began his career in the warehouse at Quick Supply Co., working each summer throughout high school and college. After graduating from the University of Iowa, he assumed a full time position in the explosives division as he began learning what it takes to work in the field, doing shots and blasts. His hard work quickly led to a position in sales where he gained valuable experience in management, including how to run the business.

We work hard to cultivate a family-like atmosphere and always strive to do the right thing. Newer team members quickly recognize that we are a family-oriented company. I thank God for our success and feel truly grateful for the incredible group of people who call this place their second family.

ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS
Cascade Geosynthetics was founded by Hale Holdings in 2020. Cascade serves the construction industry and customers in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West regions by providing solutions for geosynthetics, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and revegetation.

Bowman Construction Supply was founded in 1969 and acquired by Hale Holdings in 2016. Bowman serves the construction industry and customers in the Rocky Mountain region by providing solutions for erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, geosynthetics, revegetation and soil amendments, waterproofing, bridge products, and architectural products for commercial construction.
ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS
ASP Enterprises was founded in 1976 and acquired by Hale Holdings in 2006. ASP serves the construction industry and customers across the Midwest by providing solutions for erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, geosynthetics, revegetation, drainage, hardscapes, and outdoor living.
EXPLOSIVES SERVICES & ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS
Quick Supply Co. was founded in 1938 and was acquired by Hale Holdings in 1953. Quick Supply Co. serves the construction, quarrying, and mining industries, and supplies customers all across the country, from the Midwest and central U.S. down to the Southeast. Quick Supply Co. provides a variety of explosive services and products, technical blasting services, and drilling services, and also supplies construction materials to the state of Iowa.
