Reinforced Polyethylene Liners

RPE liners are multi-layered geomembranes made by laminating polyethylene films over a high-strength scrim reinforcement. This structure gives them a high strength-to-weight ratio, making them durable yet lightweight and flexible. They are commonly referred to as CWPE (Coated Woven Polyethylene) in some specifications.

Features:

  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Built with a woven scrim core, RPE liners offer excellent tensile and tear strength while remaining lightweight.
  • UV and Chemical Resistance: Designed to withstand prolonged sun exposure and resist a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for exposed and industrial environments.
  • Cold Flexibility: Maintains flexibility and performance in freezing temperatures, ideal for northern climates or seasonal installations.
  • Prefabricated Panel Options: Available in large factory-fabricated panels, reducing field seaming and speeding up installation.
  • Customizable Thickness and Texture: Offered in various thicknesses and surface finishes to meet specific project needs.

Benefits:

  • Durable and Reliable: Withstands mechanical stress and environmental exposure, ensuring long-term containment performance.
  • Cost-Effective: Lower material and installation costs compared to thicker geomembranes like HDPE or XR-5.
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for ponds, canals, temporary covers, soil remediation, and more.
  • Quick Deployment: Lightweight and flexible design allows for rapid installation, even in remote or difficult-to-access areas.
  • Regulatory Friendly: Meets performance standards for many environmental and industrial containment applications.

Applications

  • Canal & Pond Liners
  • Soil Remediation & Drilling Sumps
  • Tailings Dams & Interim Landfill Caps
  • Fish Farms & Aquaculture
  • Temporary Covers & Modular Tank Liners
