Product Description

Features & Benefits

Flexamat is a vegetated concrete block mat used for stabilizing slopes, channels, low water crossings, inlet/outlet protection, and shorelines. It consists of concrete blocks (6.5″ x 6.5″ with a 2.25″ profile) locked together and embedded into a high-strength geogrid. Each block is tapered, beveled, and interlocked, preventing lateral displacement within the mats when lifted for placement.

Features:

  • High Strength and Flexibility: The concrete blocks are intricately locked together and embedded into the geogrid, providing both stability and flexibility.
  • Vegetation Growth: The design includes 1.5″ spacing between blocks, promoting vegetation growth.
  • UV-Resistant Polypropylene Netting: The blocks are stitched together by two layers of UV-resistant polypropylene netting.
