Structural Erosion Control

Structural erosion control solutions are engineered systems designed to physically stabilize soil and prevent erosion in high-risk or high-impact environments. Unlike vegetative or biodegradable methods, these solutions rely on durable materials—such as concrete, steel, geosynthetics, and modular blocks—to provide long-term protection and structural integrity. There is a wide range of structural systems including gabions, fabric-wrapped walls, wire-facing walls, Flex MSE systems, and geocellular confinement walls like Presto Geoweb.  These systems are especially critical in areas with severe hydraulic forces, steep slopes, or infrastructure interfaces—such as culvert outfalls, channels, and shorelines.
