PRETX is a modular, inlet-based pretreatment solution designed to extend the life and reduce the maintenance burden of biofiltration systems. It captures trash, debris, and sediment before they reach the biofilter media, helping maintain infiltration rates and system performance.

  • Multi-Stage Filtration : Uses a baffle to remove floatables, a weir for settleables, and a screened grate for fine debris.
  • Modular Configurations: Available in Curb, Drop, and Inline inlet models to suit new or retrofit installations.
  • Durable Construction-Made from precast concrete, HDPE, and stainless steel—resistant to rust, rot, and corrosive runoff.
  • Accessible Maintenance: Designed for easy cleaning using standard vacuum trucks and pressure wands—no special tools or training required.
  • Hydraulic Bypass: Sized to treat water quality flows and bypass larger storm events with minimal debris.
  • Reduces Maintenance Frequency: Captures debris at the inlet, preventing clogging of the biofilter media and reducing the need for deep excavation or frequent cleanouts.
