Summary:
This position will lead the Cross-dock warehouse team to ensure the highest level of service standards are met, loading, and unloading company shuttle trucks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to the warehouse by providing positive leadership and supervision of warehouse employees.
• Motivates employees and always maintains morale to ensure high-performance levels.
• Trains and develops employees to ensure the warehouse functions at the highest level of efficiency, filling in any area as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures are met.
• Helps unload, checks in, and puts away all parts.
• Pulls parts and gets them ready to ship for will call, delivery drivers, UPS, and shuttle parts.
• Unloads, sorts, and packages brake shoe cores for return in the warehouse.
• Counts, writes up, and packages Paccar, CAT, and Cummins core returns.
• Handles all warranty needs, which include taking pictures, getting serial numbers, packaging and shipping, and scraping out parts when needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
• Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness.
• Assists in the counting of physical inventory.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have three to five years of prior experience in a warehouse lead, operations, or logistics environment.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Must possess basic computer skills and possess strong verbal and written communication, organization, detail, and time management skills.
• A proven experience as a warehouse employee with experience in shipping and receiving is required.
• Must be able to maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a warehouse setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
