JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the sales of new and used trucks (Peterbilt or otherwise) in the assigned Youngstown AOR. The successful candidate will also be efficient in​prospecting, generating spec quotes, giving sales presentations to both small and large customers, as well as time and territory management. The ideal candidate will be an expert in making calls to new and existing customers, providing sales solutions, and support to customers, and providing support to their customers when needed. You will work to always exceed their expectations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience:Must have two or more years of industry experience, knowledge of the territory, and knowledge of class 6-8 truck sales or related products. Residency within the territory is also highly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual Dexterity:Regularrepetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be ableto operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard.
• Mobility:Frequently required tosit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally willstoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. May ascend and descend stairs frequently, and climb into machines.
• Strength:Mayoccasionallylift and/ormove light to moderate amounts of weight.
• Work Environment:The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
