The Role: Strategic Growth & Territory Mastery
This role requires a seasoned professional capable of dominating an assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). You will be the face of Ohio Peterbilt, responsible for:
- Consultative Selling:Providing tailored sales solutions for new and used Class 6-8 trucks.
- Market Leadership:Leveraging your existing industry contacts to strategically prospect and grow market share.
- Spec Excellence:Generating precise, technical quotes and delivering high-impact presentations to owner-operators and fleet executives alike.
- Customer Advocacy:Delivering the elite level of support that Peterbilt customers expect and deserve.
What You Bring to the Table (Experience Required)
- Proven Industry Experience:Minimum 3+ years of direct heavy-duty truck sales experience (Class 6-8) is required.
- Deep Market Knowledge:A strong understanding of the territory, local market trends, and established industry relationships.
- The Closer Mindset:A self-starter who is motivated by results, with strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Aptitude:Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to master complex technical specs and sales software.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Must reside within (or be willing to relocate to) the assigned AOR.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential. Current Class B a plus!
