Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday
Job Summary:
The Hydraulics Service Technician must measure disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders, comparing them against the original manufacturer’s specifications and recommend proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
Job Requirements:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Five years’ experience in the analysis of hydraulic cylinder failures and recommendation of repairs, previous experience with the repair of hydraulic components.
Must be an experienced technician with a strong attention to detail.
Must understand and be able to work with close tolerances.
The ability to read hydraulic schematics would be helpful.
Must have previous experience with the repair of hydraulic components.
Must be a self-starter and work well on their own. This position would require the ability to speak with customers and vendors.
Compares disassembled components against the original manufacturer’s specifications.
Recommends proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
Completes work in the pump shop.
Completes work as a machinist at times.
Completes write-ups and line boring or welding.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull
Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
Dexterity Normal
Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
