    Bale accumulators are machines that arrange bales into groups and situate them on the ground. A grapple mounted on a loader retrieves the grouped bales.
    Norden Mfg Bale Accumulators for small square bales have a simple design and automatically arrange the bales into groups. They then automatically place the hay or straw bales on the ground when the group is complete.

    The Norden Mfg Bale Accumulator is unique since it does all of this with no hydraulics or electronics. We also manufacture grapples to load those bales onto waiting wagons or trailers for transportation to storage.

    We offer eight different models. You can have a system that will fit your current equipment or your needs. Things to consider are:

      • Size of your wagons
      • Size of your loader
      • What you intend to do with your bales

    For example, if you intend to load van trailers, the 18-bale system is a nice fit. If your wagons are only 7.5′ wide, the AF10 is a nice fit because two bales long with a tie row fits nicely.

    It is also important to choose if you want the bales to be flat on strings or “on edge.” The bales stacked on edge tend to sweat better and hold their shape better. Many people stack the bales flat though because they like the increased stability.

  • AE18 Bale Accumulator

    This hay accumulator arranges bales on edge with 6 bales wide and 3 bales long. This is our largest bale accumulator and handles small square bales from 32″ to 40″ in length. It is paired with the 618 Grabber and the KN618 Tie-Grabber. We believe that these bundle dimensions are ideal for filling van trailers and utilizing the most space.

    These bundle dimensions are also ideal for 9′ x 24′ wagons which also allows the wagons to be completely filled without wasted space. Another benefit of this accumulator model is that it offers a 17% time-saving advantage over the 15 bale system and 45% time-savings over any 10 bale system. With each set of bales, the 18 bale group contains 20% more bales than the 15 bale group with a 17% reduction in the number of packs.

  • The AE15 Bale Accumulator

    This accumulator arranges bales on edge with 5 bales wide and 3 bales long. This is our second largest bale accumulator and handles small square bales from 32″ to 40″ in length. It is paired with the 615 Grabber and the KN615 Tie-Grabber.
    These bundle dimensions are ideal for 9′ x 20′ wagons which also allows the wagons to be completely filled without wasted space. The benefits of this accumulator model is that it offers a 33% time-saving advantage over any 10 bale system. With each set of bales, the AE15 bale accumulator contains 50% more bales with a 33% reduction in the number of packs.

  • The AE10 Bale Accumulator

    This is a popular model especially with small farms. The AE10 paired with the 510 Grabber or KN510 Tie-Grabber needs a lighter weight loader capacity.
    This opens the doors for more usage on smaller farms with small tractors.  This arranges the bales on edge with 4 bales wide and 2 bales long. The tie row of two bales allows for cross-stacking making the loads more stable on the wagons or on trucks.

  • The AF15 Bale Accumulator

    This accumulator arranges bales flat on their strings with 5 bales wide and 3 bales long. This is our second largest bale accumulator and handles small square bales from 32″ to 40″ in length.It is paired with the 615F Grabber and KN615F Tie-Grabber.
    These bundle dimensions are ideal for 9′ x 24′ wagons or are also ideal for loading van trailers from the rear. Another benefit of this accumulator model is that it offers a 33% time-saving advantage over any 10 bale system. You can see the comparison to the AE10 and AF10 bale accumulator. With each set of bales, the AF15 bale accumulator contains 50% more bales with a 33% reduction in the number of packs.

  • The AF12 Bale Accumulator

    This arranges bales flat on their strings with 4 bales wide and 3 bales long. It is paired with the 612F Grabber or the KN612F Tie-Grabber.
    These handle small square bales from 32″ to 40″ in length. This bundle dimension is ideal for 9′ x 20′ wagons. If you want to increase your productivity by filling out our wagons to road width with your bales flat on strings, this is the accumulator for you.

  • The AF10 Bale Accumulator

    This is the most popular model especially with small farms. The AF10 paired with the 510F Grabber or the KN510F Tie-Grabber has lighter weight loader capacity requirements.
    This opens the doors for smaller farms with equipment that is not large to mechanize the production of small square bales.  This accumulator arranges the bales flat on their string side down with 4 bales wide and 2 bales long. The bundles fill a 7.5″ wagon from one side to the other. The tie row of two bales allows for cross-stacking making the loads more stable on the wagons or on trucks.

  • The AF8 Bale Accumulator

    This accumulator arranges bales flat on the string side down. These set two rows of 4 small square bales on the ground are is paired well with the 408F Grabber, EGF8 Grabber or the KN408F Tie-Grabber.
    These bundle dimensions are 72″ wide by 64″-96″ long allowing the bundle of hay to fit on multiple different wagons or truck beds.

  • The AF4 Bale Accumulator

    This is our most economical accumulator for smaller producing hay growers. This accumulator sets 4 bales on the ground at a time. Paired with the 408F Grabber or the EGF8 Grabber, the operator can pick up two groups of 4 hay bales for a total of 8 bales.
    By being the most economical it helps hay growers increase productivity while still reducing labor costs.
