1976

Founding & Early Growth

ASP Enterprises is founded in St. Louis, Missouri by Harold Bade. Harold saw a commercial for the “Miracle fabric”, Mirafi, a black fabric that supposedly would extend the life of pavement. He sold 20 rolls that first year, purchased a full truckload the next year, and proceeded to be a technical source to the St. Louis engineering community for geosynthetics, a very new idea.

1994

Kansas City Office Opening

ASP Enterprises expands service area with the opening of our new office in Kansas City, Missouri. Harold was asked to take his business knowledge to the Kansas City market. For 18 months it was a fledgling branch working out of a basement.

2000

Growth in Nebraska

ASP Enterprises expands its service area again with the opening of our new office in Omaha, Nebraska. This new location allows ASP to serve customers in Nebraska, western Iowa and southern South Dakota. Wayne McFarland, Harold's right-hand man from St. Louis, moved to Omaha to run the branch.

2001

Celebrating 25 Years in Business!

ASP Enterprises celebrates 25 years of serving the environmental industry and providing geosynthetic, erosion control, sediment control, and stormwater management solutions to customers.

2005

Growth in Kansas

ASP Enterprises opens a warehouse in Wichita, Kansas. While not a full office, this warehouse allows ASP to have materials stocked and readily available for customers in southern Kansas and Oklahoma.

2006

Acquired By Hale Holdings

ASP Enterprises is acquired by John Hale and becomes a part of the Hale Family of Companies. In 2005, Harold had quite a health scare and felt the need to get this company into the hands of someone that would take care of his people, his business success and continue to grow it.

2011

Beginning of Hardscape Supply Business

ASP Enterprises enters the landscape products and materials business and begins supplying hardscape materials from our St. Louis (Fenton), Missouri location.

2016

Expansion of Hardscape Supply Business

ASP Enterprises' Kansas City, Missouri location begins stocking and supplying hardscapes products and materials.

2022

Company Rebrands

ASP Enterprises gets an updated logo and branding to further acknowledge and represent the relationship between our sister companies, Quick Supply Co., Bowman Construction Supply & Cascade Geosynthetics.

2024

Wentzville Office Opening

ASP Enterprises opens a new office in Wentzville, Missouri to better serve customers in the Greater St. Charles area and central Missouri.
